The Cysts In My Eyes Will Not Prevent Me From Seeing The Real World

As the rain falls,
It mocks you.
As the branches sway in the wind,
They laugh at you
And the wind just blows you away.

Gold melts into silver
So that the value of life is diminished.
Turning away from the sun,
My skin burns a dull golden bronze
And I feel the cancer sleeping.
It sleeps like you sleep -
Spreading
Worrying
Painful.

I can't see through the cysts
That have formed in my eyes,
And a single tear
Triggers too much pain.
I feel too much pain.
And this nightmare will melt away.

When the sky finally falls
And the rest of the world opens up,
My eyes will bleed.
For my bloody tears
Will cleanse the tainted hearts
And then I will die.
