Cartoon-like images
Sculptures of kids and puppies
Weary adult expressions
Major attitude
Choppy arrangements
And salty vocabulary,
Wrapped in intricate packaging.
Past the point of no return
We are caught in suspended animation.
When we take one step beyond
We are experimenting with terror.
Rosemary's Baby will no longer cry for me.
When the devil rides out
On a three-pronged carriage,
The flames of the present
Will extinguish the embers of the past.
The brainchild of a monsterwork
Will help me forget the forgotten.
With a single stroke of the pen,
History is re-written.
I open wide the gates of hell,
Where we are caught in suspended animation.
