I remember walking along the shoreline that day
Thinking of what was to become of me.
Blistered by the flames of what is unknown
Burning whole through a hole in the stillness of time.
Decomposing illuminations of shadows
Swimming in my misfortunes
Tearing my heart with your unholy words.
Worshiping the ground
Until the death of me.
Heaven's dissension
Leaves me with a feeling of emptiness
And despise, bearing the burden
Of your only sign
Which happened to be a lie.
Trembling in dismay
And forced to believe
Your weak light
Is not what I hoped for.
Standing in your shadow
I've come to realize
That this dream of mine
Is wasted.
Under the sun
I've come to despise
And this scream of mine
Will forever be heard
In the back of your mind.
