Stale Emotions

The crowds have been thinning,
The road to devastation widening.
Entombment of myself is imminent
Shouting wishful words
Over the words of my desperation
For one reason, and one reason only:
Because some people seem happier
With the odd man out.

Stale emotions develop into a stale ending
Where one's closed wounds will become open scars
And the rising tide of the wave
Will rest itself against the harbour
Although it will not wash away
The ruin written on the walls
Of a saddened child's bedroom.

At the ends of the earth
And at the end of the day,
No one can see behind
The face that expresses a silent solitude
But tremors on the other side.

The execution of reason
Is not reasonable to some
For an undefined reason.

Say what you will,
But all of the others
Are just a plague,
Full of lies,
Deception,
And deviation.
Why haven't you noticed?

Get this:
I'm better than them.
