Nailed To The Sky

A sacred head surrounded
By a crown of piercing thorns
A bleeding head so wounded,
Cut open and sentenced to scorn.

In a bitter passion,
The glow of life fades
In the heads of your enemies,
They know their life decays.

Behold the wood of the cross

Crucified, laid in a cave
You lived to die for faith
Like the last trampled rose
You took the fall.

Hang yourself on a cross
Right-side up, or upside down?
Bloodrush the the head
A world now is drowned

Were you there when all was crucified?
Were you there when they nailed Him to the sky?
